A format that is useful after the sale
A price alone may be enough to recognise a purchase today, but a useful computer bill should still make sense months later. Describe the device model, capacity and relevant serial or service number. Separate accessories from labour so the buyer can see what was supplied. For a repair, distinguish replaced parts from the work of diagnosing, installing or testing them.
Add only warranty or return conditions that your business actually offers. A bill template does not create a manufacturer’s warranty, extend a warranty period or prove that a product is genuine. If a serial number is sensitive, share the completed bill only with the people who need it.
From sample to your own document
The sample is an illustrative preview, not a record of a real purchase. Replace the seller and customer details, document number, dates, quantities and prices before downloading. Enter tax percentages according to the actual transaction; no rate is preselected for computer equipment or repair work.
Use the notes area for a service reference, agreed collection instructions or a clear statement of the work completed. Check the final PDF against your sales or repair record. A quotation for proposed work should remain distinct from a bill for completed work and from a receipt for money already received.
Frequently asked questions
Can I list several computer components?
Yes. Add separate item rows for components, accessories and service work, with their own quantities, prices and tax percentages.
Does this bill verify a device serial number?
No. The editor records the information you enter. It does not check manufacturers’ serial numbers, ownership or warranty databases.
